This is a key position working with off-road cycling enthusiasts to manage tracks and trails throughout the city in an environmentally and sustainable manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the programs for the improvement and maintenance of the cycling trails for Mt Coo-tha with potential scope to broaden the application.
- Collaborate with community, local government, private landowners, off-road cycling groups and clubs, state government, and other stakeholders in the off-road cycling network.
- Focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement to deliver great outcomes between stakeholders.
- Develop and manage stakeholder relationships to achieve project goals.
- Monitor, report, and provide advice and recommendations on project progress.
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation to ensure compliance.
- Research, analyze, and compile information to develop reports for decision making.
Requirements
- Experienced in the planning, management, implementation, and evaluation of programs and projects to agreed timeframes, budget, and standards.
- Strong project and risk management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation.
