We are seeking a skilled Procurement Continuous Improvement Lead to drive change and governance within our procurement improvement program for Liberty Primary Metals Australia.
As the Procurement CI Lead, you will leverage your expertise to review, develop, implement, and lead change across procurement improvement processes. You will collaborate with a team of procurement professionals to drive performance and support management in achieving deliverables.
This role can be based in either Whyalla or Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain sustainable procurement improvement processes
- Drive a performance-focused work culture with a continuous improvement mindset
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their capabilities
- Design and produce performance reporting
- Design and develop procurement and supply chain analytics capability and reporting
- Develop new supply relationships to enhance our supply chain capability
- Procure and implement supply chain technology and innovations to improve team effectiveness
Our ideal candidate will have a background in Procurement and experience in handling multiple simultaneous projects. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in a Commerce/Business/CIPS degree or similar
- Experience within a large procurement team, preferably within manufacturing, mining, or heavy industry
- Experience in the application of sound financial and data analysis principles
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a challenging environment, prioritize competing demands, and focus on delivering outcomes
- A flexible team-work approach to tasks and responsibilities
- SAP experience
