**Risk Management Expertise Sought**

The Non-Financial Risk team plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and stability of Australia's financial services landscape. To achieve this goal, the team works closely with frontline supervisors to maintain robust prudential supervision.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive non-financial risk capability program for APRA staff members, enhancing their understanding and skills in this area.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders to collaborate on operational risk management strategies and best practices.
  • Provide expert insights to the APRA leadership team on operational risk management and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to transition APRA's perspective on Third Party Risk Management from a traditional outsourcing approach to a more forward-thinking Service Provision mindset.
  • Analyze and refine data analysis methodologies for operational risk and supplier management across industries, providing actionable recommendations.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Mastery of non-financial risk principles and practices.
  • Proven expertise in operational risk management, with a focus on Third Party Risk Management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
