Salary and Benefits

The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary package based on the Fast-Food Award, including:

  • A base hourly rate of $27.17
  • A break loading allowance of $2.717 per hour
  • An additional allowance of $7.15 per week for experience and bonuses

Employees also enjoy employee discounts and a rotating roster with 8-hour shifts.

Job Description

As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the McDonald's store, including providing quality service to customers, training and developing staff, scheduling shifts, and maintaining excellent standards of quality, service, and cleanliness (QSC&V). You will also be responsible for handling financial transactions, managing production procedures, and maintaining efficient operations.

You must be able to work in a team environment, where success is measured by the outcomes delivered by teamwork and training. The successful applicant must hold a valid work visa or be an Australian resident.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience, including 1 year in a management position within a McDonald's operation
  • A Diploma in Management or higher qualification, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu
  • Completion of one or more Department Streams courses or equivalent, including a post-class action plan

Examples of outcomes achieved in your teams, including managing staff, profit and loss, and customer recovery, are highly recommended.
