About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Energy Transformation Consultant to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Grid Technologies division, you will play a crucial role in enabling a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and execution of consulting studies for electrification and decarbonization of high CO2 emitting industry verticals and electrical power systems;
- Represent Siemens Energy in grid-related standardization committees, workshops, and conferences;
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships internally with Sales and Execution Units and externally with customers, partners, and regulatory authorities;
- Support project acquisition in close alignment with the Sales functions, showcasing our capabilities;
Requirements
- You are an individual who is passionate, innovative, and driven to make a difference with:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, or related field (MBA, Master's, or Ph.D. degree preferred);
- 8+ years of experience in the consulting area with a focus on electrification, digitalization, and decarbonization; experience in Hydrogen, Smart Grids, Carbon-Footprint Reduction Technologies, and Renewable fields preferred;
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successful project management;
- Validated knowledge and experience regarding the design and implementation of technology adoption roadmaps for electrical utilities or industrial consumers;
- Experience working and communicating with ISO, RTOs, utilities, municipalities, and developers;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders;
- Proficient language skill in English is required;
- Flexibility to travel as needed, up to 40%.
