About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our team at Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional service to our members, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and dining areas to the highest standards;
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment;
  • Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, cooking, and presentation;
  • Help with clearing and maintaining the lounge and dining areas;
  • Stock and maintain inventory levels for daily business operations;
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines;
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery;
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment;
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge;

Requirements:

  • Prior kitchen experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment;
  • Availability to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends, including flexible shifts;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic;
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, with a focus on physical stamina and endurance;
  • Clear understanding of written and spoken English, with excellent literacy and numeracy skills;
