About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate leader to oversee the growth and development of our Adult Community Education & Alesco College - High School operations.

The ideal candidate will have senior management or leadership experience in a school or other education setting, with a sound understanding of strengths-based practice and solutions-focused approaches.

They will be able to demonstrate intentional leadership skills, a passion for working in alternative education, and an appreciation of the needs of at-risk young people.

In addition, the successful candidate will align with our values of Inclusion, Innovation, and Integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and development of our Adult Community Education & Alesco College - High School operations.
  2. Research and Assessment: Conduct research and assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the education sector.
  3. Operational Excellence: Embed operational practices that promote efficiency, effectiveness, and quality in our education programs.
  4. Talent Attraction and Development: Recruit, select, and develop high-performing staff who share our vision and values.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Senior management or leadership experience in a school or other education setting.
  • Sound understanding of strengths-based practice and solutions-focused approaches.
  • Intentional leadership skills, with a focus on inclusive, innovative, and integrity-driven practices.
  • Passion for working in alternative education and an appreciation of the needs of at-risk young people.
