Tube Fitting and Bending Expert Required

We are seeking a skilled Tube Fitting and Bending Supervisor to lead our team during shutdowns in the Pilbara region.

Laptek Systems, an Australian-owned company, specializes in technical lubrication solutions. Our ideal candidate will have experience in tube fitting and bending, as well as leadership skills to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards.

About the Role
  • Supervise tube fitting, installation, and repair tasks on fixed plant equipment.
  • Perform inspections and maintenance on dual-lined systems.
  • Manage hose and tube assembly processes.
  • Coordinate team activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and documentation, and support team training and development.
  • Serve as a liaison between management and the team, resolving issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, demonstrating expertise in tube fitting and bending.
  • Implement efficient workflows to meet production targets.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to industry regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with team members, fostering open communication.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in mining or shutdown environments.
  • Background as a Tube Fitter, with stainless steel tube bending exposure.
  • Trade qualification preferred; Section 26 or working towards it advantageous.
  • Certifications in Confined Space, Working at Heights, Gas Testing, and Fire Fighting (within 2 years).
  • MSIC Card preferred; induction with FMG, RIO, BHP advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
