Laptek Systems, an Australian-owned company specializing in technical lubrication solutions, is seeking a qualified Supervisor with experience in tube fitting and bending to lead our team during shutdowns in the Pilbara region.

About the Role

Position: Supervisor – Shutdowns
Location: Perth with FIFO to Pilbara
Company: Laptek Systems

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tube fitting, installation, and repair tasks on fixed plant equipment.
  • Perform inspections and maintenance on dual-lined systems.
  • Manage hose and tube assembly processes.
  • Coordinate team activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment and documentation, and support team training and development.
  • Serve as a communication link between management and the team, resolving issues promptly.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in mining or shutdown environments.
  • Background as a Tube Fitter, with stainless steel tube bending exposure.
  • Trade qualification preferred; Section 26 or working towards it advantageous.
  • Certifications in Confined Space, Working at Heights, Gas Testing, and Fire Fighting (within 2 years).
  • MSIC Card preferred; induction with FMG, RIO, BHP advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
