We're currently seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in this exciting role.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and building Civica's cloud-based platform, as well as developing our internal developer platform from the ground up. You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a globally aligned team that's going through an exciting time of scale.

You will work closely with the entire Platform team and collaborate with other business units to build platform capability and deliver best practice. You will also be actively involved in improving older tech stacks and platforms using modern approaches and influencing company-wide architecture.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise in Terraform, Azure/AWS, Bash, CI/CD, and GitHub to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. If you're a problem solver with strong knowledge of cloud providers and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, then we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform to provision resources efficiently.
  • Possess strong knowledge of cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure or AWS and ensure security practices are adhered to throughout the lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications and services.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation, with knowledge in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Proficient in creating CI/CD pipelines for deploying infrastructure changes using technologies like GitHub Actions.
  • Leverage your expertise with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrators like Kubernetes.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvements within the team.
