About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician/Preparation Sampler to join our team in Mackay. As an entry-level position, you will receive comprehensive training to excel in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory testing of coal samples using specialized equipment.
  • Perform manual handling tasks to prepare coal samples for testing.
  • Participate in the simulation of coal production processes to test the properties of coal samples.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid QLD C Class manual driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Be physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
  • Possess sound numerical skills and a methodical approach to work.
  • Be reliable and able to work shift work, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Meet ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and site induction requirements.
  • Reside locally in the Mackay region, with no FIFO arrangements.
