Job Summary

Vanguard is seeking a seasoned leader to head its internal audit team for the Asia Pacific region. This role requires a strong risk and control mindset, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to influence and mobilize others.

The ideal candidate will have ten plus years of experience in internal or external audit, compliance, or other risk and controls functions, as well as experience in financial services, banking, superannuation, investments, or related industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a ten to twelve-member team comprised of leaders and specialists
  • Develop and execute a cohesive audit plan that considers both divisional and cross-divisional top risks
  • Build relationships with senior leaders across the Asia Pacific businesses and leverage those relationships to improve the control environment through impactful audit work
  • Manage reporting and presenting to the local subsidiary audit committees

Requirements

  • Excellent relationship management skills; proven track record with cultivating strong relationships at the executive and senior leadership levels
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and mobilize others
  • Demonstrated influencing skills; ability to drive collaboration and partnerships, inspire change
  • Strong risk and control mindset
