Ventia has been awarded a new contract by Seqwater to deliver maintenance and services across its water network. This contract will see Ventia provide services across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations, and 26 referable dams.

About the Role
  • As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in enhancing financial performance for the contract.
  • You will partner with operational stakeholders to drive efficient day-to-day processes, provide management with sound data and analysis, and perform routine budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
  • Monitor and optimize performance against targets, including revenue, EBITDA, net working capital, and operating cash flow.
  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting of actuals against forecast and budget, including variance analysis and reporting of risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare budgeting and forecasting requirements, aligning with operational targets and strategies.
  • Prepare analysis and reporting to meet internal and client financial reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with client contacts to resolve queries and complete deliverables.
  • Drive continuous improvement in end-to-end processes, including purchase to pay, order to cash, recruit to onboard, and payroll.
  • Lead and develop direct reports, overseeing workload, cross-training, skills development, and performance reviews.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Proven experience in project accounting, with high-volume project experience favorable.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop excellent working relationships with stakeholders and direct reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with senior client personnel, management, and project delivery teams.
  • SAP experience required, with Power BI skills highly favorable.
