Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our Harbourstone Enhanced Care team in Sydney, Nova Scotia. As a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

  • Assess resident needs through consultation with medical professionals and internal staff
  • Implement individualized care plans to meet resident needs
  • Provide leadership to health services staff and oversee the provision of quality health services
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registration with the provincial Practical Nursing regulatory body
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • A valid CPR & First Aid Certification
  • A clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire
  • Previous working experience with elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment an asset
