Grounds Maintenance Professional

Key Responsibilities:- Perform minor building maintenance and repairs
- Relocate school furniture and equipment as needed
- Maintain lawns, gardens, and school surroundings using appropriate tools and machinery
- Blow, water blast, spray, and generally upkeep hard surfaces and outdoor areas
- Daily collect rubbish and manage waste
- Report maintenance issues, vandalism, or damage promptly
- Support safe work practices in line with school policies and WHS standards
- Assist with grounds support across all school campuses when required
- Adequate physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
- Experience using hand tools, green-keeping equipment, and small power tools
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles
- A proactive and reliable attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A current Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain one)
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented environment for students, staff, and visitors.
