About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and preparing fortnightly payroll, ensuring accuracy in pay rates, deductions, and superannuation contributions.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and follow-ups on overdue accounts.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Keep the general ledger updated and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports to assess the company's financial performance.
  • Ensure accurate tax reporting and aid in the preparation of annual tax returns.
  • Coordinate with external accountants for tax planning, audits, and other financial matters.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support as required.
Requirements
  • A degree in accounting or a related field is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Professional certification in accounting is an advantage.
