We are seeking a highly skilled New Graduate Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Newcastle, NSW. This position offers the ideal chance for new graduates to apply their physiotherapy knowledge in a challenging Public Hospital setting.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based patient care as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include providing inpatient and outpatient client care with an emphasis on general medicine and cancer care.
Key Responsibilities- Able to conduct thorough assessments and develop individualised treatment plans that meet the needs of patients across all core areas of physiotherapy.
- Competent in conducting systematic assessments that address patient issues and concerns, including referrals to other services when necessary.
- Demonstrate good clinical judgement in using assessment findings and evidence-based knowledge to formulate treatment plans.
- Provide information and consult with patients about treatment plans.
- Deliver effective treatment and provide patients with self-management skills.
- Reassess patients and progress treatment as required.
