Culinary Expert Required

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate culinary expert to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and ensuring proper portioning for recipes.
  • Cook food according to high culinary standards, following recipes to ensure consistency and taste.
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in the kitchen, cooking equipment, and utensils, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Be familiar with menu items, ingredients, and cooking methods to effectively prepare and present dishes.
  • Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished dishes to maintain consistency and high standards.
  • Prepare dishes in a timely manner, ensuring all meals are ready according to the service schedule.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to manage kitchen operations, communicate orders, and ensure efficient meal preparation.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US or Australian citizen
  • Must Possess an active US Secret or AUS NV-1 Clearance
  • Must have a minimum of 3+ years previous experience as a cook or in a food preparation role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of different cooking methods, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have good communication skills
  • Must be able to stand for long hours, lift heavy pots and pans, and handle the physical demands of kitchen work
