Solutions Engineer - Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer to fill a key role in our organization. As a Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and showcase how Ideagen's products can solve them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct consultations and discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and business goals.
  • Presentation of tailored product demos addressing customer pain points.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create customized proposals and solutions.
  • Buid strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on industry best practices and standards.
  • Support marketing through webinars and promoting core messages.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitors.
  • Design and maintain demo environments for different markets.
  • Create demo scripts based on customer use cases.
  • Respond to technical and functional RFP requirements.
  • Assist the implementation team during customer handover.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or consulting in EHS or related fields.
  • Background in Business, Engineering, or EHS; certifications like Six Sigma, ISO, CSP are highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of product management software and SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with APIs, interoperability, data warehousing, and software architecture.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially in explaining EHS solutions.
  • Analytical, customer-focused, and effective in fast-paced team settings.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple Pre-Sales projects.
  • Willingness to travel and represent the company professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
