Youth Soccer Coach Job Description

As a Youth Soccer Coach, you will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans that introduce balance, coordination, cognitive skills, and more through music and movement.

Our program focuses on teaching soccer skills, physical literacy, and life skills to small groups of children. You will work with toddlers to preteens, helping them develop essential skills and qualities needed to succeed in life.

Coaches must create a positive, fun, and safe learning environment for all participants, maintaining open communication with parents and providing progress reports as needed.

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans based on our existing curriculum
  • Teach soccer skills, physical literacy, and life skills to children of various age groups
  • Establish a supportive and inclusive team atmosphere, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect among players
  • Communicate effectively with parents, addressing concerns and questions in a timely manner
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with children/toddlers/infants
  • Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and patience
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass all mandated background checks
