Job Summary

The Project Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for analyzing financial performance, planning, and reporting, as well as cash flow and investment management. This individual will serve as a liaison between teams and funding entities.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial performance in accordance with established standards.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support project planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and vendors/consultants to ensure accurate and timely processing of expenditures.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to project teams.
  • Manage invoices/payments and understand compliance requirements.
  • Track actual expenditures relative to project budgets.
  • Predict cash flow requirements of the project relative to planning grants/funding and other cash sources/needs.
  • Support senior executives with financial reporting submissions.
  • Analyze and interpret data to produce useful financial planning reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with complex Treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, cash management, and investment management.
  • Ability to analyze/report on large amounts of data.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team approach/adhere to accepted standards of personal conduct.
  • Able to navigate relationships with stakeholders with utmost regard for confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
