Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Learning Specialist. The ideal candidate will be a highly effective teacher who can deliver high-quality teaching and learning in the classroom.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse student needs
  • Collaborate with school leadership to enhance curriculum planning and delivery
  • Provide evidence-based feedback to teachers to inform their effectiveness and development
  • Lead and model whole-school improvement initiatives related to curriculum planning and delivery
  • Support teachers in evaluating the impact of learning programs on student growth
  • Mentor and coach teachers to improve their teaching practices
  • Supervise and train student teachers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated expertise in teaching and learning practices, including literacy and numeracy skills across the curriculum
  2. Ability to model exemplary teaching practices and implement school priorities
  3. Expertise in implementing high-impact teaching strategies that respond to student learning needs
  4. Ability to support teachers in using data to inform their teaching practices
  5. Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
  6. Ability to engage in collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and the broader school community
  7. Ability to model behaviors and attitudes consistent with Department values
