Job Summary

Ensure high-quality overnight shift operations by overseeing all property activities.

Deliver exceptional hospitality and service to guests during the late-night hours.

Act as a property representative in resolving guest or property-related issues promptly.

Take personal responsibility for resolving problems and completing tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Property Operations Oversight

  • Guarantee adherence to operational guidelines and protocols.
  • Verify employees are properly attired and well-groomed at all times.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
  • Manage period-end inventory processes effectively.

Profitability and Revenue Goals Support

  • Review financial statements, sales reports, and performance data to assess productivity and goal achievement.
  • Assist in responding to and resolving guest concerns received directly from guests or Guest Relations.
  • Collaborate with accounts receivable personnel on all aspects of their job to minimize overdue invoices below 60 days.
  • Monitor timely processing of chargebacks and rebates by the supervisor.
  • Implement strategies to minimize chargebacks and rebates.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed and monitor overage/shortages.
  • Effectively manage employee hours and work schedules.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to identify and implement action plans preventing guest issues from recurring.

Human Resources Activities Support

  • Encourage participation in property safety initiatives and programs.
  • Monitor employee attendance records and track absences/tardiness.
  • Promote teamwork and enhance employee morale.
  • Keep employees informed about new operational procedures, standards, or programs.
  • Support supervisors in addressing employee performance concerns.
  • Ensure all staff have complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
  • Organize employee relations activities, such as gifts, parties, and outings.
  • Develop incentives promoting better service and profit for the property.
  • Assist the operations manager in processing weekly employee payroll.
