About the Opportunity

The Construction Supervisor plays a crucial role in the success of Weeks Homes Pty, reporting directly to the Area Manager and working as part of the company's Construction team.

In this challenging and rewarding position, your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality homes that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction process of between 12-20 dwellings from start to finish.
  • Allocate materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of homes.
  • Ensure that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure high standards of quality workmanship.
  • Ensure that homes are completed on time and within the allocated budget.
  • Ensure construction is carried out safely and in accordance with company processes and systems.
  • Ensure Trades understand and are complying with the company Safety Management System and the WH&S legislation and internal operating systems.
  • Liaise with customers and council, as required, to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure that the required documentation and paperwork is completed during the building process.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of Weeks Homes Pty, along with:

  • 2 years' experience in supervising residential builds.
  • Excellent work ethic, drive, and enthusiasm.
  • A strong project management ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes efficiently.
  • Considerable knowledge of the basic methods, practices, tools, materials, and work standards related to the building of residential homes.
  • The ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and planning abilities with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
