Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and committed Tutor Support Officer to join our team. As a Tutor Support Officer, you will be responsible for identifying students' learning needs, skills, and difficulties, and working under the guidance of the relevant Individual Needs Advisor to respond to these concerns.
- Maintaining confidential weekly student notes on Microsoft Teams to monitor their progress.
- Understanding a student's identified learning difficulties and offering assistance in the classroom.
- Liaising with Individual Needs Advisors and teaching staff to maintain a comprehensive support program and track student progress.
- Assisting students in dealing with adjusted curricula where necessary, under the guidance of classroom teachers and Individual Needs Advisors.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and respond to different learning needs and strengths of all students in classrooms.
A positive rapport with staff and students is essential, along with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
The role requires strong proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
Experience working with children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds is highly desirable.
