Primary Tutor Role

ABC College is a trusted tutoring centre supporting students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to deliver small group lessons for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and structured lessons in English and/or Maths to small groups of primary school students.
  • Follow provided lesson plans and curriculum guidelines.
  • Assist students in building strong academic foundations and confidence.
  • Monitor student understanding and adjust instruction as needed.
  • Provide basic written or verbal feedback on student progress.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and focused learning environment.
  • Communicate any learning concerns to supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Currently studying a teaching degree (Primary or Early Childhood) OR qualified teacher in Australia.
  • Strong proficiency in English and/or Maths (minimum Band 5 HSC level or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills and a clear, confident teaching style.
  • Reliable, punctual, and organised.
  • Attention to detail and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Valid Working With Children Check (for paid employment in NSW).
