We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified psychologist to make a positive impact in the lives of children and their families. As a clinical psychologist, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, provide individualised therapy sessions, and work closely with clients and their families to develop effective treatment plans.
Your Key Responsibilities- Conduct Standardised Assessments: Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify goals and areas of need for clients.
- Provide Support and Education: Offer information, education, and support to clients and their families to empower them to make informed decisions about their mental health.
- Develop Effective Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients and their families to develop functional, routine-based goals and implement evidence-based therapy interventions.
- Monitor Progress: Regularly review progress and set new priorities in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Ensure Inclusion and Participation: Support inclusion and participation in community activities, promoting social connections and well-being.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA.
- Passion for Making a Difference: Demonstrate a genuine passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families.
- Counselling Skills: Possess the ability to provide empathetic counselling and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
- Desirable Experience: Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with necessary checks and certifications.
