Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and engage stakeholders in the delivery of complex projects.

This role will involve effectively leading and collaborating with project teams, sub-contractors, and consultants to achieve desired customer and company outcomes.

The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Leadership and delivery of complex projects
  2. Execution of strategic projects
  3. Development of strategic relationships with industry partners
  4. Provision of guidance and support to project teams
  5. Fostering a positive and collaborative culture between stakeholders and the project team
  6. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with customers
  7. Ensuring timely activity, integration, and efficient use of resources to meet requirements
  8. Establishment of key success indicators and recommendation of trade-offs
  9. Monitoring of risk position and communication of business impacts
  10. Provision of direction and motivation to project teams
  11. Identification and addressing of training needs for project teams
  12. Completion of closure and wrap-up activities upon project completion
  13. Provision of mentoring to developing project managers

Requirements

Significant experience in project management is essential, along with problem-solving and autonomous working skills. The ideal candidate should be able to articulate strategy and link to objectives and project deliverables.

Strong communication and negotiation skills are required, as well as the ability to partner with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Innovation and strategic planning skills are also highly valued.
