About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Open Pit Geologist, where you will lead geological operations and contractor activities to meet production and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise geological operations and contractor activities to achieve production and cost objectives.
  • Perform quality control analysis and integrate geological, structural, and analytical data into grade control and resource models.
  • Collaborate with the Resource Geology team to prepare, maintain and refine geological models.
  • Manage stockpile tracking and oversee end-of-month reconciliation processes.
  • Contribute to short-term forecasting and budgeting for the Geology department.
  • Foster a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.
  • Support team development through training and mentoring.
