We are seeking a highly skilled Child Health Specialist to join our team at the Doonside Community Health Centre. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will work with families who have infants and/or young children, promoting their development, well-being, and safety.
- This role involves working in a variety of settings, including client's homes, clinics, and parenting groups.
- You will be responsible for assessing the physical, social, and emotional needs of children and their families, and developing individual care plans to address these needs.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Postgraduate qualification relevant to performing the role of a Child and Family Health Nurse, or currently enrolled in a tertiary course with completion date within 12 months of employment.
- Evidence of post-registration experience working with families and young children; including those from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Understanding of, and commitment to, evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of population health and primary health care.
