About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Watch – Tech Officer to join our Special Purpose Aircraft (SPA) program. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing Deferred Defects across our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research and investigations into all defects
  • Ensure that the necessary Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) and parts are available for timely rectification
  • Work closely with the SPA Continuing Airworthiness Services (CAM Services) group and the SPA Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO) team to ensure that fleet maintenance aligns with regulatory requirements and meets the operational needs of 34 SQN VIP Operations
Requirements
  • A solid background in aviation, holding a degree or diploma in aviation or being qualified as an AME/LAME
  • A strong understanding of maintenance control systems and the regulations governing aircraft maintenance
  • Project management and stakeholder coordination skills within regulated environments
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of a multidisciplinary team
  • IT proficiency in using aircraft scheduling and maintenance recording systems, along with the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and Access)
