About the Role:
As a Maintenance Watch Technical Officer with Northrop Grumman, you will be responsible for managing deferred defects across our aircraft fleet, ensuring timely access to necessary instructions and parts for defect resolution. You will work closely with our Continuing Airworthiness Services (CAM Services) and Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO) teams to ensure maintenance meets regulatory standards and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage deferred defects and ensure timely access to Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs) and parts.
  • Conduct research and investigations to support defect management.
  • Collaborate with CAM Services and AMO teams for regulatory compliance.
  • Provide timely status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use expertise in maintenance documentation, procedures, and regulations.
  • Manage high-priority tasks to maintain fleet compliance and operations.

About You:

  • Degree or diploma in aviation, or qualifications as an Aviation Maintenance Engineer (AME) or Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME).
  • Strong understanding of maintenance control systems and regulations.
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in aircraft scheduling software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Access).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) baseline security clearance.
