A leading clinical research organisation is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their high-performing team and lead strategic client engagement across the country and globally. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors and CROs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in clinical trials and business development who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to drive business growth and expansion.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years' experience in business development and at least 2 years' experience in the clinical trials sector. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors and CROs
- Lead feasibility planning and proposal development
- Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences
- Manage CRM systems and report on pipeline activity
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture
- Minimum 2 years' experience in business development
- At least 2 years' experience in the clinical trials sector
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Canva
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required
- Work from anywhere in Australia
- Be part of a collaborative, supportive, and high-impact team
- Play a key role in shaping the future of clinical trial delivery
