About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team at our QCoal Northern Hub Coal Project in Collinsville, Bowen Basin.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our Maintenance Supervisor to deliver high-quality solutions and results.

  • Perform routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment following strict documentation standards.
  • Conduct general maintenance, breakdown repairs, services, and component change outs to an exceptional standard.
  • Source technical information from manuals, bulletins, OEM, and computer systems as required.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections to optimize equipment utilization and identify areas for improvement.
About You
  • Hold a Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent qualification.
  • Possess post-trade experience in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.
  • Have demonstrated experience in maintenance, breakdown repairs, component change outs, and servicing of heavy earth-moving equipment.
  • Be proficient in the operation and maintenance of CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment.
