Technical Author Team Lead Position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Author to lead a team of publications authors in delivering innovative technical publication solutions and writing activities.

As a Technical Author Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving and leading a team of technical publications authors to deliver high-quality technical writing solutions. You will participate in designing the architecture required to support the development and delivery of technical publications, work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, and establish effective consultation and communication mechanisms.

The ideal candidate will have a background in leading teams of technical authors/writers, demonstrated experience in technical publication writing/authoring and/or drafting, and effective communication skills at various levels of stakeholders. Understanding of S1000D and/or experience in producing maritime technical publications is highly desirable.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has excellent leadership skills, and is passionate about creating high-quality content.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of Technical Publications Authors to deliver technical writing solutions.
  • Design the architecture required to support the development and delivery of technical publications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or formal qualification in Technical Writing or equivalent experience.
  • Background in leading teams of technical authors/writers.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical publication writing/authoring and/or drafting.
  • Effective communication skills at various levels of stakeholders.
