**Laboratory Technician - Environmental Laboratory Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in an Environmental Laboratory based in a scenic coastal location.

This laboratory services the local community and external clients, providing high-quality analytical testing services using state-of-the-art instrumentation and classical techniques. Located in Northern NSW, this role offers a great opportunity for professional growth and a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct chemical and microbiology analysis on water and soils
  • Perform calibration checks on general laboratory equipment
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical instrumentation used for metals, organics, and nutrient analysis

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques/Operations, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology or equivalent science
  • Demonstrated knowledge of wastewater and water quality guidelines (NH&MRC, WHO, ANZECC, EPA)
  • Able to work under pressure in a team environment
