We are seeking skilled and experienced Cyber Security leaders to drive the protection and safeguarding of information and systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cyber Governance, Cyber Security Operations Centre, Identity Management, Penetration Testing, Platform Development, Security Engineering, Threat Hunt/Purple Teaming, and Vulnerability Management.

The successful applicant will lead a team to deliver expert, contemporary cyber security services while building trust and confidence in the digital environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading technical capability in one or more areas within the branch: cyber security operations, governance, strategy, or program portfolio management.
  • Driving change and continuous improvement in cyber resilience capabilities, while managing threats and risks to safeguard people, information, assets, and services.
  • Ensuring appropriate security standards and IT security controls are implemented in accordance with industry frameworks.
  • Proposing and implementing new security capabilities to meet organisational requirements, strategic objectives, and ensure compliance with government policies.
  • Engaging with stakeholders and service providers to ensure compliance with legislative, contractual, and policy obligations.
