Healthcare Safety Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Healthcare Safety Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking cleaning duties, including the cleaning of rooms, equipment, and utensils. They will also be required to report any damage or issues and empty and replace soiled linen.

In addition to their cleaning responsibilities, the Healthcare Safety Professional will provide patient-focused care, including assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and pre-operative shaves. They will also be responsible for reporting any observations or concerns about the patient.

As a Healthcare Safety Professional, you will also undertake security duties as directed, including preventative and responsive security actions aimed at ensuring a secure and safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including patient rooms, corridors, and public areas
  • Report any damage or issues to management
  • Empty and replace soiled linen
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene and mobility
  • Provide pre-operative shaves and report any observations or concerns about the patient
  • Undertake security duties as directed
Requirements:
  • A valid NSW Drivers Licence
  • A Current Class 1A NSW Security Licence
  • A Current First Aid Certificate
  • A Fitness Assessment (completed prior to being offered position)
