About the Role
The Mizzen Search team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Associate to join our client's Mergers and Acquisitions practice in Brisbane. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for working on major transactions in the energy and resources sector, including acquisitions, divestments, joint venture agreements, project development approvals, and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and execution of complex corporate transactions
- Conduct due diligence and research on potential deals
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with senior associates and partners to drive business growth
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Associate with a strong background in corporate transactions. Prior experience in the energy and resources sector is not essential, but would be a significant advantage. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of post-admitted experience in corporate transactions
- Strong understanding of corporate law and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
