Community Leisure Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Recreation and Lifestyle Coordinator will develop, coordinate, and lead leisure activities that cater to the diverse needs of residents in a community-based setting.
Develop and implement engaging programs to promote independence and quality of life for residents.
Track resident progress and assess the effectiveness of programs, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Hold relevant qualifications and experience working in a similar role within an aged care or community services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Enhancing resident engagement and participation through various recreational activities.
Designing and implementing mental health and wellbeing initiatives to empower residents' choices and independence.
Utilizing computer skills to manage data, communicate with colleagues, and maintain accurate records.
Maintaining knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and outcomes related to aged care.
Requirements:
Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital devices.
