Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator

The Recreational Activities Officer is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving energy, engagement, and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities.
This includes leading mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our resident's choices and independence.
- Develop and implement leisure and lifestyle programs that meet the needs and interests of our residents.
- Assess and document the effectiveness of programs by tracking residents' progress and making necessary changes.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle.
- Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable).
- Previous experience within an aged care setting.
- Highly developed organisation and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, internet/intranet skills, email communication, and confidence with smart phones and digital devices.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety.
