About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing workplace rehabilitation services to help individuals return to work and achieve their goals.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and design, implement, and monitor exercise programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce.

You will also be responsible for conducting initial assessments, identifying RTW barriers, and designing/implementing/monitoring programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment, and home assessments
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
  • Design, implement, and monitor exercise programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
  • Teach, coach, and motivate clients to facilitate self-management of exercise and healthy lifestyle
  • Design, implement, and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions
  • Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required
  • Complete accurate case notes which reflect actions undertaken and any recommendations to achieve the Return to Work and Health goal

Requirements:

  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
  • A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven organisation and time management skills
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Hold and maintain a current Australian Driver's Licence and own and maintain a road worthy, comprehensively insured motor vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Qualifications & registration in any of the following:
    • Exercise Physiology
    • Full and current registration in / with ESSA is essential
