The role of IBDP Coordinator is pivotal in guiding staff, students, and families through the demands and opportunities of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Programme Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of the programme, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with IB standards.
- Curriculum Development: Lead curriculum development and review, aligning teaching programmes with IB standards and practices.
- Teacher Support: Support teachers in best practice, promoting a culture of academic inquiry and international-mindedness.
- IB Compliance: Ensure IB compliance, monitoring and maintaining integrity and consistency in assessment practices.
- Liaison Role: Serve as the main liaison between the school and the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), fostering strong relationships and communication.
- Lead the strategic vision and growth of the IBDP within the school, building a culture of academic inquiry and international-mindedness.
- Ensure alignment of teaching programmes with IB standards and practices, overseeing curriculum planning and subject group coordination.
- Monitor and support assessment practices to maintain integrity and consistency, ensuring policies, practices, and reporting requirements are met.
