Senior Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and guiding a junior EI&C engineering team.

  • Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality electrical, instrumentation, and control designs.
  • Develop project plans, scopes of work (SOW), proposals, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and act as the design focal point for clients.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and guide a junior EI&C engineering team to deliver complex projects.
  2. Develop and review HV/LV, instrumentation, and control designs.
  3. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely project delivery.
  4. Assist with installation and commissioning activities.
  5. Manage scheduling and direct engineers to complete project tasks.
  6. Participate in multi-disciplinary project teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
  • 5-8 years' experience in EI&C engineering.
  • RPEQ (Electrical) registration.
  • Strong skills in HV protection, earthing design, SKM PTW, AutoCAD.
  • Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider) and SCADA/HMI systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
