We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advocacy and Major Projects Officer to join our External Relations - Advocacy team. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist technical and strategic advice to support Council's advocacy agenda and strategic interests.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in policy research, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government, industry, and community partners.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategic, tactical, and operational plans to enhance Council's reputation and deliver positive investment and advocacy outcomes.
- Providing technical specialist advice and support to key stakeholders on Council's advocacy agenda, including seeking external funding.
- Leading the delivery of complex and multi-disciplinary proposals and projects across the council and with external partners to achieve strategic and business outcomes.
About You
