Midwife Specialist

The East Metropolitan Health Service is seeking experienced Registered Midwives to deliver high-quality care and provide a supportive environment.

You will have the opportunity to work in a community-focused model of maternity care, providing collaborative and integrative services to address the needs of women and their families. You will work across various ambulatory and non-ambulatory services, including midwifery antenatal clinics, antenatal assessment units, birthing suites, and postnatal wards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced knowledge and clinical support to patients and colleagues
  • Lead and supervise midwifery teams
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of midwifery policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife or eligibility to apply
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
