Job Title: Security Solutions Consultant/Advisor

Job Description:

We're looking for a passionate and experienced security professional who will work alongside technology and business teams to provide advice and guidance on cybersecurity practices.

This includes taking ownership of implementing pragmatic and sensible security solutions.

The role plays an essential part in our product delivery ecosystem.

Your primary focus will be to deliver practical security guidance and guardrails to enable delivery teams to deliver secure products and services at pace.

You'll also contribute to broader initiatives such as maturity uplift and other cybersecurity objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide security guidance including performing security assessments throughout project lifecycles.
  • Identify and document re-usable security approaches including developing and delivering standardised requirements and guardrails.
  • Review/analyse technical products and vendor solutions to define security solutions that meet business needs within risk appetite.
  • Contribute to the ongoing uplift program of work with our security, risk, compliance, technology and portfolio teams.

About You:

A passionate and proactive individual with experience in security architecture, threat modelling and risk management.

Comfortable communicating complex technical risks into business consumable soundbytes.

Experience delivering security in cloud technologies and environments embracing agile and DevOps ways of working.

Awareness of emerging security trends including threats and countermeasures.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
