Key Position: Mental Health Clinician

Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Clinician to support young people aged 0-25 through acute episodes and into recovery.

The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed, culturally safe, and evidence-based care across community and bed-based services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Complete urgent & routine mental health assessments
  2. Develop safety plans & deliver therapeutic interventions
  3. Work across a 7-day rotating roster (including afternoons)
  4. Support holistic, recovery-focused care with families & carers involved
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • AHPRA or AASW eligibility (RN*, OT, Psych, Speech, SW)
  • 3+ years' experience in MH or working with children/youth
  • Solid clinical skills & understanding of key MH legislation
  • Meet Serology and work Occupational Health requirements
Desirable:
  • Child/youth MH training, AOD/family violence experience, MHA knowledge
