Job Title: EIC Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled EIC Project Engineer to join our team at Embedded Expertise. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, managing project control and procurement, and leading a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the design process, ensuring compliance with Australian and international standards.
  • Management of project control and procurement processes, including tendering and contract administration.
  • Leadership of a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Overseeing the construction process and commissioning, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Safety and environment leadership, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

Requirements:

  • Application and knowledge of Australian and international standards related to electrical and automation systems.
  • Management experience of small to medium-sized design and construction projects or work packages in a heavy industrial environment.
  • 5+ years of experience managing the engineering aspects of capital projects, including HSEC, employee relations, and contractors.
  • Electrical engineering experience in low voltage distribution, drives, instrumentation, and control systems design.
  • Construction supervision experience, with a focus on ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Experience in the pre-authorisation development and delivery of discipline engineering and project deliverables.
  • Tendering, negotiation, and administration of major equipment supply and construction contracts.
  • Understanding of the toll-gated approach to project development and execution.
