Electromechanical Specialist

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Specialist to join our team in Western Australia. The focus of this role will be on installation, commissioning and calibrating XRF machines across various sites in the region. Preventative maintenance work and responding to breakdown calls is a critical part of the job, given the time-sensitive nature of the tasks involved.
This position requires extensive travel, and some on-call/weekend work may be necessary, with additional remuneration based on days away from home. However, we strive to ensure that most site visits take place during the workweek, offering a different lifestyle compared to traditional FIFO roles.
The Ideal Candidate:
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong experience in fault finding down to a component level. A passion for problem-solving and working closely with customers to achieve great results is also essential.
While not strictly necessary, prior field service experience, a WA Radiation Safety Licence, and XRF, XRD or neutron analysis expertise would be highly advantageous. This role would suit someone with a strong electro-mechanical skillset and a keen desire to learn about XRF instruments.
What's On Offer:
We offer a competitive base salary, estimated at $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. To compensate for travel, there is an additional daily allowance of $100-$150 per day when travelling, which is a significant component of the role.
